Since graduating from university with a degree in European Studies I worked in a variety of positions involving publishing and communications in the fields of law, financial services and moved onto international development, healthcare and medical education. Prior to joining the LSHTM in 2017, I worked for the Royal College of Physicians examinations department for 9 years as a medical editor and communications manager - the latter involved managing all stakeholder communications and marketing campaigns around the world.
At LSHTM I have been responsible for project communications on the LINK study and more recently the FIEBRE project. This involves engaging and working with external stakeholders, including universities, academics, researchers, students and technical, operational and medical staff, ensuring coherence in external messaging. Directing the development of external communications materials, including (but not limited to) reports, one-pagers, videos, slide decks, event organisation, social media activity, website design and content, and newsletters in line with the communications strategy, selecting appropriate communications channels for target audiences.
