24 March 2021 London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine https://lshtm.ac.uk/themes/custom/lshtm/images/lshtm-logo-black.pngThe LLHM is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and the City of Westminster. The race starts by The Strand, finishes by Downing Street and has fabulous views of London’s most iconic landmarks, including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.
We are looking for five amazing individuals to take on the challenge! You will be raising vital funds for our COVID-19 Response Fund to help our experts slow the spread of this pandemic. The funds you raise could help our epidemiologists who have been examining the incidence, distribution and control of infectious diseases, our behavioural scientists who inform how we work with local communities, our Vaccine Confidence Group that are producing a real-time understanding of both the current and evolving sentiments around COVID-19, or our teams that are running genome sequencing to identify new variants of COVID-19 as they emerge.
Get your running shoes ready and apply now. All applications are welcome from students, staff, alumni and friends of LSHTM. Applications will close on 30 April 2021.
