London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

LSHTM’s new Director Liam Smeeth is leading work to define explicit values for our School and develop our Vision and next Strategy.

Our mission statement is strong and clear, and our values will articulate the ethos and culture of our School and apply to all the LSHTM community. We want to involve the alumni community in this vital work.

We are sharing surveys with alumni and seeking feedback from the whole community. We are also recruiting a small, diverse group of recent graduates to join our new Alumni Sounding Board. Members of the Alumni Sounding Board will share their experience of studying with LSHTM and offer advice and feedback. This includes attending virtual/in-person discussions and sharing your views at events or by email.

Advice from our Alumni Sounding Board feeds into our values and developing our next strategy. We are looking for alumni who graduated from 2016-2021 from our intensive (London-based) MSc programme, our distance learning programme and our Doctoral College.
