I am a family physician and a public health specialist with experience working in South Asia, Sub Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America. The majority of my professional career has been spent with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF, Doctors Without Borders) responding to health in crisis and providing humanitarian assistance since 2009. As a doctoral student in Public Health (DrPH), supervised by Dr. Bhargavi Rao, Prof. Chris Drakeley and Dr. Sakib Burza, my main research interest is to understand how to better implement tropical disease programs in humanitarian settings, and then help to translate them into real world actions.
