I have demonstrated in laboratory practicals for Core Bacteriology, Core Virology and Advanced Training in Molecular Biology and have provided one to one tutorial support for a MSc Medical Microbiology student. I provide pastoral support for students on the course and lecture on the Core Bacteriology module.

I am the module organiser for Clinical Bacteriology 2 which I also lecture on.

In 2018 I also assisted development of assessment questions for Bacterial Infections by reviewing a new question and preparing a model answers.

In 2021 I became a distance learning tutor on the Bacterial Infections module and also run student learning groups to provide DL students with a community and support system, as well as covering key research and study skills such as referencing.

I have supervised two Msc students and am currently the lab supervisor for a PhD student.

I was awarded Distinction for PGCILT Module 1 and I'm due to complete Module 2 in March 2024.
