I am a Scientist A at the MRC/UVRI & LSHTM Uganda Research Unit. My background is in Medicine and Public Health. I have been conducting research full time for more than 10 years.

Research

My current research focus is on integrated community models of care for global non-communicable diseases, specifically, diabetes and hypertension in Uganda and Tanzania. I have also conducted work on the testing and self management of diabetes, as well as on Pre-exposure antiretroviral prophylaxis against HIV among young women at high risk of infection.
