Research
The focus of my Fellowship has been to use electronic health records to investigate long-term kidney outcomes after COVID-19 and the economic effects of the pandemic on kidney care. I primarily work on the OpenSAFELY platform, but have also had the opportunity to undertake complementary research in collaboration with the Stockholm CREAtinine Measurements (SCREAM) project based at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.
My longer term research interest is in the implementation of community-based interventions to address structural inequalities in the management of chronic kidney disease and its risk factors.
