Dr Heiko Philippin is an Honorary Assistant Professor at the International Centre for Eye Health (ICEH), London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). He is the Senior Inclusive Eye Health Advisor for Research & Training at CBM. Dr Philippin is a glaucoma specialist with a clinical appointment at the Eye Centre of University Hospitals Freiburg, Germany.
From 2006 to 2018, Dr Philippin has worked for CBM in Kenya and Tanzania at Sabatia Eye Hospital and KCMC Eye Department respectively. In 2011 and 2012, Dr Philippin did an international glaucoma fellowship with Professor Peter Shah at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
