This term’s film series continues with an episode of British sitcom Green Wing, which was broadcast on Channel 4 between 2004 and 2007. Introducing the screening, and discussing the wider context of representations of surgeons in popular culture will be Dr Agnes Arnold-Forster (University of Roehampton). Dr Arnold-Forster is a cultural and medical historian currently working as a Research Fellow on the Wellcome Trust-funded Surgery and Emotions project.
