Launch of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene’s new 5 year Strategy

This event is an opportunity to celebrate the launch of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene's (RSTMH) new five-year strategy. As a charity and global membership society for those working in global health and tropical medicine, RSTMH aim to eradicate and eliminate disease and improve equity in health, in low resource settings. During this launch, speakers will share the highlights of the last strategy as well as the aims for the next five years, and how they want to better support their members and Fellows. They will also share some of the activities we will be delivering and discuss what global health needs from us in the next 5 years.
The key audience for this meeting are those who are working in or interested in tropical medicine and global health; those who are interested in being part of a global network of members working towards the big goals of our sector; early career researchers and professionals who would like to grow their skills, experiences and networks
Tamar Ghosh, the CEO of the RSTMH, will outline the Society’s new 5 year strategy and David Mabey, a past president of the Society, will add some comments and chair the discussion. A reception will follow in the South Courtyard.
