Novartis Foundation | “Improving care for chronic patients in lower-income countries: the patient journey”

We would like to inform you that the Novartis Foundation and Novartis Access will host dialogues on Improving care for chronic patients in lower-income countries: the patient journey. The event will take place on November 29, 2016 in Basel.
In the morning session, in collaboration with the Centre for Global Non-Communicable Diseases of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, the Novartis Foundation will explore person-centered approaches to improving management and care for hypertension and its complications in lower-income areas.
In the afternoon session, Novartis Access, an innovative social business approach to treat chronic diseases in lower-income countries, will present findings and discuss learnings from its first year of implementation.
Speakers and panelists will include representatives from the World Health Organization, PATH, Red Cross, Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Boston University as well as government delegates.
Jörg Reinhardt, Chairman of Novartis and of the Novartis Foundation, will deliver a keynote address.
