School features for first time in global university rankings

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine has featured, for the first time ever, in a list of the top 100 universities, ranked by reputation.

The Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings place the School as 94th in the world in terms of reputation, and 11th in the UK.

Peter Piot, Director of the School, comments: "We are delighted that the School's global reputation, and status as a world leading school of public health, has been recognised in this way. This reflects the huge commitment and skill of our staff, the quality of our research and teaching, and our increasing ability to adapt to new challenges and opportunities in public health. Congratulations to everyone - let's continue to aim high."
