Educational/professional background
Medical doctor with specialist training in Public Health and Community Medicine, a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians
What I enjoyed most about studying my programme/at LSHTM
I obtained my MSc Medical Statistics degree from LSHTM. I really enjoyed the one-to-one mentorship sessions with my personal tutor which helped provide guidance during the programme. I also benefited greatly from the detailed study notes and practice materials, most of which I still refer to today.
What I have been doing since graduating
Since graduating, I have completed my residency in Public Health and now provide biostatistics consultancy services. I collaborate with various research teams at my institution, working on vaccine trials for Lassa fever and community-based studies on emerging infectious diseases, among others. Additionally, I teach epidemiology and biostatistics to medical students and am currently a member of a research consortium focused on strengthening research education among universities in Africa.
