Before starting at LSHTM, I had just finished my BSc in Biomedical Sciences, where I undertook a research project in my final year on the parasite, Trypanosoma brucei.
What I enjoyed most about studying my programme at LSHTM
I really enjoyed meeting people from around the world with a common interest in global health as well as all the interesting lectures and seminars held at LSHTM which enabled me to expand my knowledge in different areas of global health.
Also, being able to attend the British Society of Immunology conference and the Acid Fast Club was a great opportunity to learn more about current research in immunology and mycobacteria.
What I have been doing since graduating
PhD in immunology at King’s College London & The Crick (2019-2023). I am now doing a post doctoral position at UCL and The Crick in immunology, specifically B cells and antibody responses to viral infections and vaccination.
