Educational/professional background
I obtained my first degree in Economics from the University of Buea and Master's degrees in both Entrepreneurship Management from the University of Douala, and Public Health for Eye Care from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. I enrolled on the MSc Public Health for Eye Care course after accumulating 7 years of project management and administration experience, across civil society organisations.
What I enjoyed most about studying my programme/at LSHTM
A supportive learning approach, on-campus self-study micro-space, and alumni events were the most thrilling while at LSHTM. Working with peers from diverse backgrounds gave me a huge sense of cultural diversity. I also formed part of the team that drove the LSHTM Fundraising Telephone Campaign.
What I have been doing since graduating
Being a programme management course, it improved my capacity to programme manage. Upon completion, I continued with healthcare programme management. I am currently involved in healthcare leadership programmes with NHS Clinical Leaders Network, providing support to its national development programmes.
Additional Information
I am also actively involved in research as the area that has received the highest impact following my studies at LSHTM, with publications covering healthcare quality improvement, health services research, organisational processes and workflow, healthcare technology, and public health.
