Educational/professional background
I graduated with a BSc in Biological Sciences and Psychology in 2018 and a BSc in Medical Sciences (Honours) in 2020 from Brock University. I also completed my BSc in Nursing (Compressed Stream) at Trent University in December of 2022. I am currently working as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit in Ontario, Canada.
Research interests or career goals
I am very interested in infectious diseases and the policy behind them, health equity, and knowledge translation. My goal is to work in Hospital Administration or continue working in my own company within healthcare.
Why I chose LSHTM
I chose LSHTM because it allowed me to study/work full-time while also being in school to complete an MSc Global Health Policy. The school is known throughout the globe and has a very diverse student body as well, which was a major factor in choosing LSHTM. I chose my program because I am very interested in the policy side of global health, something I did not get much exposure to in my undergraduate degrees.
