Contact Stella LintzerisEducational/professional background
I completed my undergraduate degree in Medical Science and Pharmacology at the University of Sydney in 2021. My passion for women’s health has led me to various volunteer opportunities, including working at aged-care facilities for homeless women and gynaecology clinics across Sydney.
Research interests or career goals
Universal access to sexual and reproductive health for women has a corresponding effect on the freedom of women to pursue an education or career outside the traditionally entrenched gender roles. I am particularly interested in studying the critical role that family planning plays in families and communities and in the future, I hope to contribute to SRH research in a global setting.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
The MSc Reproductive & Sexual Health Research at LSHTM offered the opportunity to solidify and contribute to my existing research skills. I am able to combine my primary interest of sexual and reproductive health with other disciplines, such as epidemiology, demography and statistics.
