Educational/Professional Background

I hold a MSc Control of Infectious Diseases from LSHTM and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter. Prior to completing my MSc, I worked in healthcare management in the NHS.

Research Interests or Career Goals

I currently work as a Research Assistant in the Environmental Health Group, working in collaboration with global partners on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) related research.

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

As a world-renowned research hub and a leader in public and global health, I knew studying at LSHTM would be an exciting opportunity to learn from researchers who are experts within their field. I was particularly drawn by the variety of centres to get involved with, including the Health in Humanitarian Crises Centre. I chose the MSc Control of Infectious Diseases as it is a unique, multi-disciplinary course that offers a wide breadth of learning opportunities, allowing you to tailor the course to suit your interests whilst equipping you with the skills to pursue a career in infectious disease control.
