I am a social scientist working in the field of global health for 14 years. My research primarily focuses on health policy and systems, particularly in Southeast Asia, where I have collaborated with local and international stakeholders on many projects at the community and policy level. I have received support and prestigious awards as investigator or co-investigator from the UK Economic and Social Research Council, the UK Medical Research Council, the Australian Research Council, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Australia, the Asia-Europe Foundation in Singapore, and the UK National Institute for Health Research. I am associate editor for PLOS Global Health Policy and the International Journal for Equity in Health, and a reviewer for UK research councils.

Research
My contribution to global health aims to inform the design of timely, sustainable, and equitable health policy and programmes, with a focus on access to care for the underserved population groups. My main areas of expertise include health policy and systems analysis, health decision-making processes, and digital health innovation. I am also interested in comparative analysis of research policy and practices in Asia and Europe.
