Educational/professional background
I acquired my BSc Public Health from the National Taiwan University in 2016. I have gained experience in the field of infectious diseases through my work in both a research institute and a government sector.
Research interests or career goals
I am interested in policy implementation and evaluation related to infectious diseases. The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened my focus on strengthening society's capacity for pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response. Besides, I am actively engaged in assessing TB patient costs for WHO’s End Tuberculosis Strategy.
As a Student Liaison Officer of the Vaccine Centre at LSHTM, my career aspirations revolve around streamlining data pipelines in support of immunization initiatives.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I discovered on LinkedIn that numerous LHSTM alumni have established careers within international NGOs, aligning with my career goals. What drew me to MSc Health Data Science is its strategic partnerships within the health data science landscape, paving the way for us to metamorphose into a new generation equipped with a data-driven toolkit.
