Webinar: Scenario-based health impact projections for the Gaza crisis

A recording of the webinar on ‘Scenario-Based Health Impact Projections for the Gaza Crisis’ which was co-hosted by the Health in Humanitarian Crises Centre at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health is now available.
Title slide for the webinar on Scenario-based health impact projections for the Gaza crisis

The webinar covered recent scenario-based projections of excess deaths in Gaza. The current Israel-Gaza war has had an immense humanitarian impact. Approximately 75% of the 2.2 million Palestinians are displaced, and most reside in overcrowded shelters with limited access to water, sanitation and food. The provision of health care in Gaza is extremely limited.

The projections were developed through a collaborative research project between academics from the Health in Humanitarian Crises Centre at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health at the Johns Hopkins University.
