Educational/professional background

My educational background is in clinical medicine. During my clinical rotations, I observed significant gaps in the healthcare system in addressing the needs of people with disabilities. This sparked my passion for advancing disability inclusion in health education and services. My professional journey led me to establish a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting disability inclusion in health education and services. Additionally, I have experience in the media industry, where I produced and hosted a medical television program. 

Research interests or career goals

I am deeply interested in exploring cost-effective and sustainable solutions for preventing and treating mental and physical disabilities. I aim to leverage my media background to amplify advocacy efforts and public engagement in public health. 

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

I chose LSHTM because of its global reputation in public health education, its extensive range of modules, and the diverse community of faculty members and students.
