Educational/professional background

Hi there! I am a global health policy advocate with a background in U.S. politics. Prior to joining LSHTM, I was a federal lobbyist for PAI, a global sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) civil society organization, where I worked with the Biden Administration and Congress to combat abortion restrictions on U.S. global health funding and programming. I earned my BA in International Relations at the University of Washington in 2019.

Research interests or career goals

I am pursuing my degree in Public Health for Global Practice at LSHTM to transition toward SRHR programs and research. I am particularly interested in SRHR as it pertains to stigmatization of care. My interests include abortion, contraception, LGBTQI+ communities, adolescent SRHR, menstrual health, and HIV prevention particularly among key populations. 

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

I chose LSHTM because of the unique global education it provides and the diverse student body as well as it's reputation for training the next generation of global health leaders.
