Introducing inclusivity with Phyll Opoku-Gyimah
How do we celebrate our individual identities without creating separation? What does being inclusive mean?
The session is being livestreamed
We invite Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, to discuss why creating an inclusive space was so important when she co-founded UK Black Pride*, when she worked in the Civil Service, as a trade unionist and in her faith.
Intersectionality and the impact of having multiple recognised characteristics is not often acknowledged. Whether you are a single Dad, black woman or disabled and bisexual, it may be that you receive acknowledgement of one aspect of your diversity and not the other or others.
