MRC The Gambia organised a national poster competition, inviting students between the ages of six and eighteen to interpret the theme ‘Improving Health, Improving Lives.’
MRC The Gambia organised a national poster competition, inviting students between the ages of six and eighteen to interpret the theme ‘Improving Health, Improving Lives.’ Three hundred and twenty five posters were received from all over The Gambia. The entries were judged by Mrs Claire Sinkinson, wife of the British High Commissioner to The Gambia, HE Mr Phil Sinkinson; Mrs Kathleen Stafford, wife of the US Ambassador, to The Gambia, HE Mr Joseph Stafford and Mrs Haddy Njai, wife of Dr Malick Njai, Chief Medical Director of the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital, Banjul. The judges spent several hours viewing the entries and expressed surprise and delight at the high standard of the students’ work. The prizes were awarded during the Opening of the new Clinical Services Department programme on Thursday 3rd May.
