The Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine wishes to inform the general public that services at our Gate Clinic in Fajara are now restricted, until further notice.
During this period, our healthcare professionals are only attending to persons in our Outpatients Department. Previous arrangements where individuals could come to the clinic and be awarded a ticket to access medical care are suspended.
Our Unit has taken these decisions to allow enough time for our teams to put in place additional security and safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The public will be duly informed when a decision to resume full services at the Gate Clinic is taken.
