More than Thirty participants have completed the 2016 Uganda Advanced Statistical Methods in Epidemiology Course, organized by the MRC/UVRI Uganda Research on AIDS.
The two week course, conducted at the Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) Entebbe campus, is designed to build on the Uganda Intensive Epidemiology and Statistics Course (UIESC) and aims to enable participants to understand, apply and interpret a range of more advanced techniques for the design and analysis of epidemiological studies.
This year, course participants were drawn from Uganda, Tanzania and the UK.
