Student Visa Responsibilities
This presentation will cover Student visa holders’ responsibilities, updating contact details, attendance and engagement, working in the UK, travelling outside the UK, summer project, graduate route visa and travelling after your course has completed.

Decolonising Global Health & the Curriculum
This session will provide a brief overview of colonialism and global health, and LSHTM’s role in both. The Decolonising the Curriculum Group works to support the faculties to build their understanding of what is meant to decolonise the curriculum and what practical steps teams might take when doing so.
Student Representation at LSHTM
Learn about the Students' Representative Council (SRC) and its Executive roles ahead of the upcoming elections, as well as other opportunities to represent your programme and student interests at LSHTM.
AI & Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now a part of our daily lives and it provides significant opportunities for enhancing learning, teaching and research practice. This session will provide a brief overview of what AI is, how it works, activities it can be useful for, issues to be aware of and the relationship between AI use and academic integrity.
Welcome Fair
Our Welcome Fair is the equivalent of a "freshers' fair", where you can find out more about the student services available to you and opportunities to get involved at LSHTM. Stands will be open throughout the event so drop in as your timetable allows, visit as many of the stands as you like and ask your questions. Accommodation Helpdesk
The Accommodation Helpdesk is a drop-in service for students still looking for a place to live in London during their studies. Our team of former LSHTM students will be on hand to offer guidance in your search. Open 12-5pm Monday-Friday from Monday 16th - Friday 27th September.

The evening will feature snacks, drinks & entertainment, including a photobooth, student world map and performance by the Pumphandle Blues Band (which has several LSHTM professors as members!). Taking place in the newly-opened Pumphandle Social Space, with the North Courtyard as a quieter, alcohol-free party space. This event is for LSHTM students & staff only; no external guests/children will be permitted.
