Educational/professional background

I have a medical degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. Over the past two years I have worked in vaccine clinical trials in The Gambia as a research clinician. Before that, I worked as a medical officer in emergency medicine as part of the COVID-19 response in Ghana.

Research interests or career goals

My research interests revolve around vaccines, vaccine access and improving pandemic preparedness in LMICs.

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

I chose to study Epidemiology by Distance Learning at LSHTM because of its strong reputation in epidemiology and the rigorous quality of education it provides. A major draw for me was the flexibility of the course, which allows me to continue working while studying.
