Educational/professional background

Hello Everyone! My name is Anjali Mangla and I am studying the joint programme co-hosted by LSHTM and LSE called MSc Health Policy, Planning, and Financing. I just graduated from Yale University in the U.S. where I earned a BS in Neuroscience and BA in Global Affairs, and a certificate in Global Health Studies.

Research interests or career goals

I am planning to return to the USA for the next four years to study medicine, but also conduct global health policy research and contribute to evidence-based policymaking and patient advocacy in the future.

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

I have also been involved in different internships and research spanning the realm of global health, health policy, and healthcare consulting. I am really interested in learning more about equitable healthcare financing to research ways to make healthcare more accessible in the USA and also in international low-resource contexts.
