Educational/professional background

I have a BSc degree in Public Health from the Philippines and have continued to work in Public Health in the Philippines. I have diverse work experience with grassroots work at local levels, technical roles at the subnational and national levels, and development work at the international level.

Research interests or career goals

I have done work on infectious diseases of poverty across different disciplines. My specific interests include Outbreak Response, One Health, and Health Systems. I aim to work on Health Systems with a specific focus on Outbreak Prevention, Control, and Response.

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

I chose LSHTM as it has a strong global presence with work in over 100 countries. This contributes to the rich education offered by The School. I chose my programme since it aligns with my interests and career goals. I believe that my programme allows me to have a specific area of expertise while also allowing me to have a diverse career pathway.
