Educational/professional background
I completed my BSc Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University, graduating in 2022. After, I was accepted into medical school and finished my first two years before enrolling in an MSc Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Research interests or career goals
After completing this MSc, I will return to Canada to finish medical school and I hope to specialize in radiology for my residency training. I want to combine my interests in medical imaging and public and global health, specifically exploring the inequities of radiological services both nationally within Canada and internationally.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM because of its international reputation in furthering public health. The education is robust and will prepare me for my future career goals. Additionally, the diverse student body allows me to connect with like-minded students from all across the globe.
Extra information
I am an intercalating medical student from Canada, so I can offer my insights on transitioning from medicine to public health!
