Educational/professional background

I had my medical training at the University of Calabar, Nigeria and completed the MSc Public Health for Development at LSHTM as a Chevening scholar. I also hold a clinical fellowship of the West African College of Physicians, Faculty of Paediatrics.

What I enjoyed most about studying my programme at LSHTM

I enjoyed so much about LSHTM, but I especially remember fondly our Monday morning sessions with the course directors, and going out to dinner with my classmates. There are so many places to experience and so many things to learn outside the Keppel Street building during this very short year. I have been working in the childhood tuberculosis research at the Medical Research Council (MRC) Unit The Gambia at LSHTM. I also recently started a part-time research degree at LSHTM.
