What I enjoyed most about studying at LSHTM
I really enjoyed meeting and connecting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds around the world. One of the highlights for me was the MSc Medical Parasitology practical sessions, which were both highly engaging and interactive. I also have great memories of the residential field trip, where we learned about vector and parasite sampling in the beautiful English countryside. The hands-on experience, both in the lab and in the field, made this course truly unique.
What I have been doing since graduating
I have transitioned from academia to industry, and I now work as the Laboratory, Safety & Hygiene Manager at a cultivated meat company in Paris. Previously, I conducted malaria research at LSHTM and Imperial College before switching to neuroscience at King’s College London, where I served as laboratory manager at the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology. Before my switch to industry, I worked as a research engineer at the Bordeaux Neurocampus, focusing on the pathophysiology of neuron-oligodendrocyte interactions.
