Educational/professional background

I’m an Emergency Physician from Ethiopia and studied MSc Public Health at LSHTM. I’m a Consultant Emergency and Critical Care specialist doctor at a teaching hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

What I enjoyed most about studying my programme/at LSHTM

It showed me how to view the health care system in general in a whole new way. I am now able to understand policy decisions and also is able to direct my contributions to better it in a more meaningful way. 

What I have been doing since graduating

In addition to teaching residents and treating patients, I have gotten involved in various research projects.
