I trained as a nurse before deciding, over 12 years ago, to transition into clinical research. Since then, I have worked on both national and international projects (mostly Swiss National Science Foundation, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe) in internal medicine, starting as a Research Nurse, progressing to Study Coordinator, CRA, and later Senior Project Manager. I currently hold the position of Quality Officer and Scientific Collaborator in the field of infectious diseases.
Research interests or career goals
My primary areas of interest encompass ethics, regulatory authority procedures, international law, and project management methodologies within the context of clinical trials.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM because of its outstanding reputation as a world-renowned institution in the field of infectious diseases and public health. The opportunity for distance learning was a crucial factor, allowing me to pursue this advanced education without compromising my current professional commitments.
LSHTM is home to leading experts in research, whose insights and innovations shape global health policies and practices. Enrolling here is the next step in my career, enabling me to build a broader knowledge base and refine my skills.
