Educational/professional background

I have a diverse educational foundation, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD), a MSc Tropical Medicine & International Health, an MBA, a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTMH), and a PMDPro certification. My studies at LSHTM deeply enhanced my understanding of public health challenges in low-resource settings, equipping me to work in global health roles with organizations like MSF, International Medical Corps, and now as a Global Malaria Technical Advisor at CHAI.

What I enjoyed most about studying my program/at LSHTM

The immersive experience at LSHTM was invaluable; I benefited from hands-on learning alongside experts in tropical medicine, who were also leading cutting-edge research. The program's global focus aligned perfectly with my career goals, and I appreciated the collaborative environment that encouraged diverse perspectives on health challenges worldwide. The multicultural environment equally created solid networking experiences and lasting friendships across national borders.

What I have been doing since graduating

Since LSHTM, I’ve been dedicated to health systems strengthening and tackling malaria and NTDs, primarily in low-resource and crisis settings. Leading complex health projects, I've managed multi-million dollar funds and cross-functional teams, fostering capacity building through innovative digital tools to support surveillance, treatment, and health data mapping in challenging environments.

Additional Information

I am committed to bridging gaps in healthcare access through strategic program management and policy implementation. The lessons from LSHTM continue to shape my approach to global health challenges, emphasizing data-driven solutions and community-centered care.
