Hi, I'm Victoria, a medical student at King's College London currently intercalating in MSc Public Health at LSHTM. Over the past few years, I've had the privilege of participating in public health-related volunteer opportunities in Malawi, Ghana, and Nigeria. Also, I completed a child health research internship with the NIHR School for Public Health Research and recently founded a community health promotion project. These experiences solidified my decision to pursue further studies in Public Health.
Research interests or career goals
In the long term, my goal is to integrate clinical practice with health systems research, health promotion advocacy, and an exploration of the role of digital technology in public health. As I advance in the MSc program (with the countless opportunities you are exposed to) my interests continue to evolve!
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM due to its global reputation as a leader in public health research. The wide range of module options appealed to me, ensuring that I could explore my interests thoroughly, both in the coursework and through extracurricular events organised by the University. The vibrant and diverse community at LSHTM has made my experience here truly exceptional!
