I am a third-year medical student intercalating from the University of Hong Kong and am currently studying the MSc Nutrition for Global Health. As a future clinician, I am interested in understanding chronic conditions through novel biomarkers and exploring new treatment options that are available. I hope to examine the nuanced considerations when translating new research on diagnostic and treatment methods into national or global health policies. In terms of chronic diseases, I hope to learn more about cardiometabolic research and the role of infant and adolescent health on long-term chronic conditions, such as obesity.
