Fast Fashion: do we need so much, so fast?
This is an informal discussion about the practice of fast fashion. Fast consumption in fashion industry worldwide has a detrimental effect on both planet and people's lives. We will share a few short films on the topic and then engage the audience in sharing their thoughts and experience.
Everyone is welcome to sign up, but spots are limited to ensure a productive discussion and to leave a space for everyone to participate.
Panellists will include:
Lisa Lorang, Lauren Ramdin, Rachel Rayheb from Obj.12
Obj.12 is a small team of four students from City University London who share a passion for sustainable fashion. Inspired by the UN's 12th Sustainable Development Goal 'Responsible Consumption and Production', their goal is to raise awareness about sustainable fashion and inspire others to rethink their consumption.
