The Global pandemic of Non-communicable disease
Low and middle income countries have the biggest burden of non-communicable diseases (NDCs) but undertake little research in these conditions, mainly because of lack of capacity. This lecture will discuss how we have successfully capitalized on the infectious disease research infrastructure in Uganda and Malawi to develop excellence and distinctiveness in NCD research.
