Investigating local-scale drivers of vector-borne disease risk in an era of global change

This seminar will highlight the impacts of climate change, urbanization and other global changes on vector-borne disease transmission in different settings, and applications of ecological modelling to inform VBD prevention and climate change adaptation efforts. This includes examples from collaborative malaria research projects in sub-Saharan Africa as well as arboviruses and tick-borne diseases in Canada.
