Planetary health panel
Our health and the health of the planet are inextricably linked, and planetary health research focuses on both the need to mitigate damaging climate change and to adapt to our already changing world. The LSHTM Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health (CCCPH) is leading research that details the potential impacts on our health of climate change but also identifies actions that could co-benefit health and the environment.
In this session, a panel of experts from the CCCPH will discuss their research on various aspects of planetary health including impacts on mental health, children and pregnant women, and potential nature-based solutions for adaptation and mitigation.
