Liz will reflect on a career, both as a statistician and a teacher, which has taken her from London secondary school maths classrooms, through working on UK-based clinical trials, to collaborating on pragmatic trials of health interventions in varied and sometimes challenging settings.
Liz will discuss her commitment to rigorous design and analysis and will highlight the importance of adhering to the complex rules and regulations that govern the conduct and analysis of trials, whilst understanding the context in which the interventions are delivered, and the outcomes measured.
