Webinar series on systematic software. Webinar 2: Covidence
The Centre for Evaluation presents a series of four lunchtime webinars on systematic review software for both people who are contemplating using such software for the first time and those who want to learn about recent developments. In each webinar, a speaker will present the software developed by their organisation. This will be followed by a discussion in which the public can ask questions and share their personal experience with the software.
In this second webinar, a representative from Covidence will present their software.

Covidence is an online software tool to streamline parts of the systematic review and make the overall process way more efficient: it has been in fact estimated that using Covidence can save up to 70 hours of work per systematic review. Thanks to its flexible and intuitive design, Covidence can facilitate some core functions of a systematic review including the upload of the search results, the screening of abstracts and full text papers or reports, the extraction of the data of interest, the performance of the risk of bias assessment, the resolution of disagreements among co-authors and the exportation into excel or RevMan. Today Covidence is one of the most commonly used software in field of evidence synthesis with more than 200,000 students and researchers supported worldwide and more than 180,000 systematic reviews started globally.
