Can we end violence against women and children?
Is violence inevitable, and can it be prevented? In this lecture, we will examine the global scope and magnitude of intimate partner violence against women and child maltreatment; look at some of the health effects of these forms of violence and give an overview of research on strategies for prevention. The panel session will include practitioners and academics and will finish with a Q&A session.
