Reflecting on the current Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the second largest Ebola outbreak on record, Prof Peter Piot will discuss the ever-present risk of another global epidemic in our increasingly interconnected world. He will focus on the need for scaled up investment in prevention and preparedness strategies, the importance of innovation, multisector partnerships, and resilient societies and health systems.
