Bloomsbury Festival - Help develop engaging activities!

The School has been invited to contribute to this year’s Bloomsbury Festival taking place from 17-21 October 2018, and we’d like to hear from you if you have any ideas for events or activities about the research we do or would like to take part.

Bloomsbury Festival is a five-day celebration of the area’s pioneering creativity from the arts and performance, to science and literature. The theme for this year’s festival is Activists and Architects of Change. This broad theme could encompass, for example, our research on: behaviour change; emerging infections; sugar tax; nutrition; pollution in cities; health inequalities in London; as well as many other areas.

This is an opportunity to gain experience taking your public engagement ideas from conception to delivery with the support of the public engagement team, setting you up for future public engagement, or building on your existing experience.

Email publicengagement@lshtm.ac.uk to get involved. We’ll be holding a development session on Friday 18 May in LG7, Keppel Street from 12:30-14:00 to discuss your ideas and develop the School’s offer. Please email to confirm your attendance.
