Planetary Health Network (PHN)
The Planetary Health Network is a part of the Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health (CCCPH) for LSHTM students and early career researchers.
We aim to:
- Promote interest in planetary health activities and research within LSHTM communities
- Work in partnership with the CCCPH and LSHTM to promote actions to increase school sustainability
- Connect and collaborate with current and future leaders in climate change and planetary health
We send a weekly newsletter through our mailing list, and organise social activities and events at the School, aiming to create a community to chat and discuss all things related to planetary health. Join us!
Ways you can be involved
- Sign up to our newsletter: This weekly trove of information will give you interesting articles to read, events to join, recent research and job opportunities related to planetary health.
- Attend our events: We host a variety of events including clothes swaps, social cafés, talks and movie screenings throughout the year. These will be advertised throughout the school and in our newsletter.
- Apply to be part of the committee: There is a central committee that runs the PHN activities. The committee meets once a month to plan and organise upcoming activities.
