The MRC/UVRI & LSHTM Uganda Research Unit through the Training & Career Development and the Data and Statistics Departments will hold a 5-day hands-on training on "Introduction to R with Basic Statistics" from 5–9 May, 2025, at the MRC/UVRI & LSHTM Uganda Research Unit, Entebbe Campus.
This course is designed for researchers, students, academics, and professionals seeking to build or enhance their data analysis skills using R. Whether you are new to R or have some prior experience, the training will provide practical knowledge in data management, descriptive statistics, and data visualization. Participants will gain hands-on experience in applying these techniques to real-world datasets, making it an invaluable opportunity for anyone looking to strengthen their analytical skills.
